On my own behalf and on behalf of the entire staff, pupils and the community at large I extend to you my sincere thanks to you for the immense assistance you gave us. This is a very big step towards the development of the school and the community of Sotokoi-Daru.

As I told you in one of my e-mails, news about this container was carried by almost all news magazines and the national radio station in English, Wolof, Mandinka, Jola, Fula & Sarahole.

The container arrived at the right time. This coincided with the feast of Tabasci and Christmas just around the corner. So most of the children used the clothes they got from the container during the Tabasci. Some of the women who benefitted from the cooking pots also told me that they used their new cooking pots on Tabasci day.

What a wonderful thing. We pray that this historical event is repeated in the near future.
